Telma Vieira Barbosa has been a Trainee Lawyer at Dower Law Firm since November 2022, where she works mainly in the areas of Criminal and Regulatory Offenses Law, Family and Inheritance Law and Credit Recovery.
Has a degree in Solicitorship from the "Escola Superior de Tecnologia e Gestão do Politécnico do Porto" and in Law from the "Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique".
Is currently studying for a Master's Degree in Law, specialising in Criminal Law, at the "Faculdade de Direito da Universidade do Porto".
Also attended the 1st Intensive Legal Advice Course at the Botto Machado Training Institute and the Order of Solicitors and Enforcement Agents.
During her academic career she was involved in voluntary organisations and held a number of important positions, including
- Marketing Director of AvenTUNA - "Associação Cultural e Recreativa da Tuna Feminina da ESTG" (10/2019 to 06/2022);
- Vice-President of the Board of AvenTUNA - "Associação Cultural e Recreativa da Tuna Feminina da ESTG" (10/2019 to 03/2021);
- President of the General Assembly of AvenTUNA - "Associação Cultural e Recreativa da Tuna Feminina da ESTG" (03/2021 to 06/2022);
- Volunteer leader of the Intergenerational Volunteering Programme - QUALidade, which was awarded a prize at the PVU 2019.
Her professional career includes three years of forensic legal advice at an Enforcement Agent's office and an internship at the law firm Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão.
To date, Telma Vieira Barbosa is also a member of the party section secretariat, of the party's municipal political committee, of the party youth, among others, as well as a 2nd class firefighter in the "Bombeiros Voluntários de Lourosa", a member of the Coordinating Committee of the "JuveBombeiro Distrital de Aveiro"(2022-2026 mandate) and Subdelegate of the "JuveBombeiro Núcleo de Lourosa" (2022-2026 mandate).
