Journey
Rita Moura Carneiro is a lawyer at Dower Law Firm since 2025, primarily focusing on Civil Law.
She holds a Law degree from the School of Law at the University of Minho.
She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Contract and Business Law at the School of Law at the University of Minho, now in her second year, where she is preparing her Master’s Dissertation on the topic: “The Active Legitimacy of Bankruptcy Petitions in the Corporate Context.”
In addition to her academic background, she completed the “1st Course – Insurance and Compensation: Road and Workplace Accidents” in November 2024, organized by CEJUR – Legal Studies Center of Minho.
She has been a registered lawyer with the Portuguese Bar Association since 2023.
Additionally, she has engaged in volunteer work at the Bisfed – Boccia World Open 2019, following which she completed the Boccia Referees Course – Level II, delivered by the National Sports Association (PCAND) at the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto.
