Cláudia Rodrigues Carvalho has been an Associate Lawyer at Dower Law Firm since 2022, where she works mainly in the Corporate area.
She has a Law degree from the "Faculdade de Direito da Universidade do Porto" as well as a Masters in Company and Business Law from the "Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Centro Regional do Porto", with a thesis on: "Non-Recourse Funding Agreements in Portugal: legal nature and obstacles".
Cláudia has complemented her studies in several areas of the law, namely:
- Postgraduate Degree in Banking, Stock Exchange and Insurance Law from the Institute of Banking, Stock Exchange and Insurance Law of the "Universidade de Coimbra", having presented a final paper on "Banking Law in the Pandemic Crisis and Public Moratoria.”;
- Postgraduate Degree in Commercial Company Law from the "Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Centro Regional do Porto";
- Course on Public Procurement, from the "Faculdade de Direito da Universidade do Porto";
- Short Course on Data Protection, by "Faculdade de Direito da Universidade do Porto";
- Course on Civil Procedural Practices, by the "Faculdade de Direito da Universidade do Porto".
She also held various positions of responsibility during her academic life, including:
- Coordinator of the Marketing Department of the junior company IURIS FDUP Junior;
- Vice-President of the Board of the General Assembly, IURIS FDUP Junior;
- Project Manager for various projects, including the organization of the 1st Real Estate Law Congress in Porto, in conjunction with Almedina, Iuris FDUP Junior;
- Vice-Chairman of the Board of the General Assembly, JADE Portugal;
- Coordinator of the Society Department, Tribuna newspaper of the "Faculdade de Direito da Universidade do Porto".
