Afonso Moreira Padrão has been a Lawyer at Dower Law Firm, where he works mainly in the area of Tax Law.
Graduated in Law from the "Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Centro Regional do Porto" (2020).
Master of Laws with a specialisation in International and European Law from the "Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Nova de Lisboa" (2023).
Postgraduate in Tax Law from the Institute of Economic, Financial and Fiscal Law (IDEFF) at FDL (2024)
Afonso is currently attending the XXI post-graduate course in tax law at the “Instituto de Direito Económico Financeiro e Fiscal (IDEFF)” of the “Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa.
During his degree he did a curricular internship at "Abreu Advogados", was Secretary-General of the Pedagogical Council of the "Faculdade de Direito da UCP" and was a member of the teams of various Academic Associations, namely the Students' Association, ELSA and the "Sociedade de Debates". During his Master's programme, he did two internships, one at the Portuguese Embassy in Washington DC, USA and the other at the Directorate of Services for European Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
