Dower assists Subic's acquisition of retailer Unicorbal

Dower Law Firm advised on the acquisition of a controlling stake in the retailer UNICORBAL by SUBIC. The team involved in the operation was led by the partner responsible for the Corporate and M&A area, Eduardo Castro Marques, who was supported by Cláudia Rodrigues Carvalho, Maria Beatriz Simões and Duarte Nunes Pinto.

Following the recent acquisition of ASGO, this is the second acquisition in the space of a year. Through this operation, the SUBIC group strengthens its position in the market, integrating a new commercial and retail team, thus establishing itself as a strong player in the sector.

UNICORBAL is a retail company based in Santa Maria da Feira, dedicated to the commercialisation of weighing and cutting equipment, as well as its respective consumables. It provides its customers with adapted equipment and solutions, as well as assistance and training services.
For its part, the SUBIC group is a Portuguese company that has made a name for itself on the Portuguese market in the sector of commercialising equipment and solutions for the retail and food industries.
