Dower Law Firm provided legal advice to Grupo Acail on the acquisition of three companies held by the venture capital fund Ceres I-Development, managed by Magnify Capital Partners, in a transaction that exceeded 16 million euros. The team responsible for the operation was led by Eduardo Castro Marques, with the support of Cláudia Rodrigues de Carvalho and Manuel César Machado, and the fund was advised by Mariana Ferraz Viveiros.

The Ceres I-Development fund invests in small and medium-sized Portuguese companies with high growth potential, focusing on projects in the food retail sector.

The three companies acquired by Grupo Acail operate in the development and management of commercial activities, including supermarkets, hypermarkets and other establishments dedicated to the sale of food products.
