Dower advises JMS on the acquisition of the Mundinter brand

Dower Law Firm advises JMS – MOBILIÁRIO HOSPITALAR, S.A. on the acquisition of the hospital equipment brand MUNDINTER.

The team in charge was led by Eduardo Castro Marques, with the support of Cláudia Rodrigues de Carvalho and Diana Lopes Marques.

The MUNDINTER brand is associated with a high standard of quality in the manufacture of products and equipment related to hospital activity, essentially in the manufacture of hospital beds.

JMS, with an activity in the field of manufacturing orthopedic material, prostheses and medical-surgical instruments, aimed with this acquisition at its consolidation and expansion in the hospital equipment market.

It is important to note that this acquisition strengthens JMS's position not only at the national level but also at the international level.

JMS has over 30 years of experience in the development of hospital equipment, and the group that it integrates with its holding company ADICO-ADELINO DIAS COSTA-MOBILIÁRIO METÁLICO LDA employs around 170 workers distributed across three industrial sites.

According to JMS CEO Sérgio Lourenço, "the opportunity to buy the Mundinter brand came at the right time, after a period of reorganization of JMS and investments made in the purchase of new industrial equipment.
