Corruption Prevention Plan: The deadline ends this month.

April marks the legal deadline for submitting the annual evaluation report of the Corruption Risk Prevention Plan.

We remind you that the General Corruption Prevention Regime (RGPC), approved by Decree-Law no. 109-E/2021, requires companies with 50 or more employees to implement a Compliance Program, which must include at least the following:

• Corruption and Related Offenses Risk Prevention Plan (PPR);

• Code of Conduct;

• Training Program;

• Whistleblowing Channel.

During this month of April, the annual evaluation report of the PPR must be prepared, and it should include:

1. The quantification of the degree of implementation of the identified preventive and corrective measures;

2. The forecast for their full implementation.

Failure to comply with these obligations may constitute an administrative offense, punishable with fines of up to €44,891.81.
